Qld actions to date PDF Print E-mail

LEAN Qld has had presence at the Labour Day march (2009 and 2010), held a forum 4 April 09, a quiz fundraiser 23 Oct 09, trained LEAN ambassadors and started making branch presentations to pass the LEAN motion (refer to the pull down menu in the Ambassador section).

LEAN Qld also made a submission to the Qld Government through the consultation for the Draft SEQ Climate Change Management Plan.

LEAN is collaborating with the Climate Change Working and Research Group of the ALP Qld Branch towards updating the Qld State Platform.

We look forward to building the Qld membership base and undertaking more advocacy for stronger climate change policy at every level. ALP members are encouraged to join now and get in touch to help us make a difference.
