More on the nuclear debate

Meghan Montefiore 10 July 2005

I found this publication 'The New Standard... a project of peoples Networks' while looking for alternative energy resources on the web. It is a professional, independent, anti-commercial, non-profit, alternate media source, published in America and expanding internationally.

It claims to have no single ideology behind it, though many of the journalists are engaged in various social movements and organisations. It is committed to providing news coverage in a non-ideological format of major topic areas such as: the war in Iraq; civil liberties and security; US business and economy. I thought LEAN members would find the following article interesting and informative, and maybe we could all keep an eye out in future, for more articles in this publication relating to the environment. Maintain a world view.
