Useful article on the Wedges approach to CO2 stabilisation

Sean Kidney 17 January 2007

This paper by Socolow and Pacala summarises the "Wedges" approach cited recently by Al Gore in his New York speech on the climate change agenda going forward.

It's a useful backgrounder to the topic of what can we do within 10 years - simply deduct the long-term ones (but leave them in research) and the doubtful ones (biofuels) and you have a pretty good set of objectives that added up will give us much much more substantial progress than is in the works at present.
