Louise Crawford is an Australian actor and local government councillor with a long-standing commitment to community life, the arts and environmental action. She has appeared in a wide range of Australian television productions, gaining early recognition in Echo Point and Breakers, alongside roles in All Saints, Neighbours and City Homicide. Alongside her creative work, Louise spent more than two decades working in the hospitality industry, an experience that has shaped her practical understanding of small business, service work and local economies.

Louise was first elected to the City of Port Phillip Council in 2016 and is currently serving her third term representing Elwood Ward. She has served as Deputy Mayor and twice as Mayor. Her work on council has focused on climate action, environmental sustainability, housing, support for the arts and well-planned urban infrastructure, including improved access to open space and increased housing supply.

A committed advocate for effective climate policy, Louise trained with Al Gore through The Climate Reality Project. She joined the Australian Labor Party in 2014, which led to her involvement with Labor Environment Action Network (LEAN), and has since run for both state and federal office as a Labor candidate. In 2025, she was appointed to the Victorian Local Government Mayoral Advisory Panel, reflecting her broader contribution to leadership across the local government sector. Known for her love of campaigning and policy advocacy, Louise brings seriousness of purpose alongside a grounded sense of humour.
