LEAN QLD at The Fringe: 'Transitions to a Low Carbon Future'

FRINGE PROGRAM EVENT 2:00pm – 3:00pm

A LEAN Qld - Labor Environment Action Network​ event that will cover pathways to renewable energy, sustainable job opportunities and how industries might change during the transition to a Low Carbon Future.

Also with some reflection on Policy covered in the Queensland Labor2015 DRAFT Policy Platform Chapter 5 – 'Our Environment, Our Future' (http://bit.ly/1PRFWbJ).

This Forum will be featuring the Hon Mark Bailey MP Member for Yeeroongpilly, Dr Jim Chalmers MP Member for Rankin, Nadia Montague from the Australian Conservation Foundation, Lance McCallum from the ETU - the Electrical Trades Union​, and Mark Ogge from The Australia Institute​.

The event will be Chaired by Robina Mackenzie, Co-Convenor of LEAN Qld.

This will be a Panel Forum event where there will be short speeches given by each panel event and then a facilitated Questions (NO STATEMENTS or GRANDSTANDING!) and Answers session with the Crowd and the Panel Speakers.
